For the first week of classes students had English orientation and teacher introductions. Ms. Shimizu and Mr. Logan held a "sensei quiz" for students who are already familiar with these teachers. English vocabulary were used in the quiz as a review from last years English lessons. Ms. Amy, who came to Shintakao last Fall as a new ALT, presented a self introduction. The new 1st graders learned about Mr. Logan through a self introuction, and practiced their own self introductions as well.
